Education Program

Our education team is fully qualified and brings a wealth of experience to the program. CHASEO offers training in various ways to cater to the different needs of housing co-op members.

Scheduled Workshops: Members from different co-ops come together for workshops sheduled for specific dates.

Custom Workshops: Some boards or committees prefer to have a workshop tailored to their specific needs and held on a date and location of their choosing.

Fall Education Day (2011): This one-day education event features a range of special workshops, which also provides a great opportunity to co-op members to interaction with members from other co-ops. See brochure for details.

Spring Congress (2011): Co-op members from across Eastern Ontario come together for a full day of workshops, speakers and discussions. See our brochure and registration form in (Word or PDF format) for details. See also our Network Lunch Flyer to choose your lunchtime discussion topic.

Member Forums: The more informal setting of a forum allows members from different co-ops to share experience and ideas on a specific topic.

Some workshops are also available in french.

FREE Co-op Basics Workshops 2010-2011

This popular workshop is a great way to introduce new board members to their positions or to inform potential candidates of what is involved. It can also be a good refresher for those of you who have been around for a while!

You can bring Co-op Basics "in-house" to your co-op on a date that you choose. Simply call us with a date and we will deliver. CHASEO members pay only $160 for this added convenience.
