Awards at CHASEO

In 2006 CHASEO decided it was time to celebrate the successes of the co-op housing movement in Eastern Ontario, and developed three awards that would build pride in our community and perhaps create a little friendly competition. Each year, CHASEO presents these awards to co-ops and/or co-op members at the CHASEO Spring Conference.

These awards recognize an individual who has shown outstanding service and dedication to the co-op housing sector, a co-op that demonstrates the principles of sound financial management, and create an opportunity for the young co-operative leaders of tomorrow. Watch for the posters in your co-op; applications can be obtained through CHASEO. These awards are:

	The John and Susan McLean Award for Outstanding Service to the Co-op Housing Movement in Eastern Ontario
	The Geoff Robbins Award for Financial Management Excellence
	The YouthWorks - Send a Co-op Teen to Camp Award
